Spurs B.C. Cooper Hits 400th Homer Sunday, July 29th , 2046 It was a great day for Emery Cooper, but not a good one for his North London Spurs B.C.. The 34-year-old first baseman reached a personal milestone with his 400th career homer, but it wasn't enough to beat the Nashville G-Strings, who came away with a 9-6 victory. Cooper finished the day with 2 hits, 1 run batted in and 2 runs scored. "Well, I've conceded the fact that you can't will yourself to hit a home run," he said. "I tried hard for the last few days.
