Genty Bangs Out 5 Base Hits

Minnesota shortstop Alain Genty had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Houston Eagles at Eagles Park as the North Stars picked up a win, 25-2.
"He was patient up there," Minnesota skipper Florêncio Grandela told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Genty has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Alain Genty struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Miguel González in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Lucas Bentley in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
At present, Genty is batting .304 and has collected 25 home runs, 59 RBIs, .384 OBP and scored 62 runs.
