Genty Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 5th , 2053 Minnesota shortstop Alain Genty had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Houston Eagles at Eagles Park as the North Stars picked up a win, 25-2. "He was patient up there," Minnesota skipper Florêncio Grandela told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Genty has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Alain Genty struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Miguel González in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Lucas Bentley in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
