Edwards Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, July 27th , 2051 The hot bat of Cervezas de Miami shortstop Dan Edwards continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 10-1 loss to the 84's at Michigan & Trumbull. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Dan Edwards singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th.
