Javier García Injured, Out for Season Thursday, August 11th, 2039 Javier García has to call it a season. The Boston Rebels starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Vancouver Cobras and will not play again this year according to club doctors. García was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. So far this season García has a record of 3-5 with 22 strikeouts and 22 walks in 29.2 innings and a 10.62 ERA. |
