Alexander Sidelined, Listed DTD by Oklahoma Sunday, September 4th, 2039 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Jerry Alexander of the Oklahoma CowEaters, who suffered knee tendinitis while running the bases in yesterday's contest against Yonkers. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Oklahoma organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 2 weeks the injury is expected to last. Currently Alexander is batting .380 with 39 home runs and 132 RBIs. |
