Buckley Batters Fort Worth Big Time Tuesday, August 22nd , 2051 Glenn Buckley was at the head of a Jersey Shore hit parade today at Cougar Den. The left fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the D-Bags to a 19-10 victory over the Fort Worth Cougars. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Buckley told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Cougars skipper Bill Hansen said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Glenn Buckley hit a three-run home run off Melvin Scott in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Pedro Pagán in the 9th.
