Oklahoma's Malveiro Sidelined for Season Wednesday, September 14th, 2039 The season is finished for Jofet Malveiro of the Oklahoma CowEaters. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The CowEaters starting pitcher suffered a ruptured tricep tendon while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the St Charles Sheens. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal. This season Malveiro has compiled a 13-5 record with a 4.57 ERA in 28 starts. |
