Whether he wants it or not, Domingo González of the Columbus Coalition will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The shortstop was hurt in today's Coalition-RubberDucks game while being hit by a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that González had suffered a fractured finger and would be out of action for 4 weeks.
For the season González has hit .261 with 4 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has played in 127 games and scored 55 times.
