Big Day for Day: Swats 5 Hits Tuesday, August 31st, 2038 It was a parade of hits for Chase Day of the Denver Doobies at Cronos Coliseum today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Day finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Doobies to a 8-2 victory. "Day was really good and we were really bad," groaned Athletics manager Lucas Rice. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Chase Day singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
