Year Ends for Scot Godwin in Santa Anna Tuesday, October 3rd, 2034 The season is apparently over for Scot Godwin. The Santa Anna Dukes medical staff informed the club that the center fielder will be out at least 4-5 months with a broken bone in the elbow. Godwin was hurt in the game against Washington DC while making a defensive play. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Godwin has banged out 36 hits in 127 at-bats for a .283 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .336 pace and his totals also include 22 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
