Postseason Bid Ends for Kansas City Thursday, September 27th , 2046 Kansas City Kings starting pitcher Jun Matsuura said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2046 postseason contention. Before this season, the Kings had made the playoffs 7 times in a row. In the 40 years they have been a Baseball Stars Association franchise, they have missed the playoffs 30 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Kings have missed the playoffs 3 times. Kansas City last won the World Series in 2043. |
