NL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Wednesday, October 1st, 2036 José García earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the National League for last month's performance. The boyish Nevada center fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. García hit .368 with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 25 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Looking at his present stats, García has compiled a .336 batting average in 77 games with a .377 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 41 runs. |
