BSA Presents Rookie of the Year Award Monday, November 9th , 2048 Today the BBN baseball writers announced the winner of the Baseball Stars Association Rookie of the Year Award. The premier rookie in 2048 was Irvine right fielder León Meléndez. He finished the regular season with a .316 batting average, 36 doubles, 1 triple and 4 home runs. Meléndez also had 38 RBIs and scored 103 times. Tom Miller of the Cervezas de Miami finished second in voting, while Vic Niekro of the Seattle Admirals finished third. |
