Alcantara Sidelined, Listed DTD by Maui Thursday, September 7th , 2051 Yordon Alcantara will be watching from the sidelines after suffering a strained back muscle against the Boston Rebels. Although team doctors are not overly concerned, they want to play it safe, listing the injury as day-to-day. The outstanding first baseman could miss about 2 weeks. To date, Alcantara has collected 96 hits for a .287 average. He has posted 21 home runs, scored 68 runs and driven in 56 runs. |
