Big Day with Bat: Uribe 5-for-6
Wednesday, August 19th , 2054
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Kansas City's Anatolio Uribe made it happen against the Dirtbags. Everything came together at the plate for the 30-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Kings triumph, 17-0, at Kings Ball Park.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Uribe said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Anatolio Uribe flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Pedro MartÃnez in the 8th.
In the current season, Uribe has put up a .305 batting average with 123 hits, 18 home runs, 58 RBI and scored 70 runs.
