Engen on Fire: Burns Charm City with 3 HR Sunday, July 18th , 2055 Some days you can't have it all, as Sausalito Meatballs second baseman Tyrone Engen discovered when he cracked three homers against the Charm City Baysox, and still lost. "I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game." The 23-year-old got his name in the league record books, but the Baysox walked away with the triumph, 10-6, at Albert Park. Engen finished the day with 4 hits in 6 at-bats and 4 RBIs. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," he said in the postgame interview. Tyrone Engen struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Eric Fournet in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Mark Gessler in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Eduardo López in the 9th and flied out in the 11th. This season, Engen has delivered 62 hits in 218 at-bats for a .284 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .325 clip and his totals also include 22 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
