Season May Be Over for Coalition Thomas
Thursday, September 14th , 2051
Columbus starting pitcher Keith Thomas could miss the remainder of the season because of an elbow strain. He exited yesterday's Fort Worth game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Thomas would be out 4-5 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

Thomas has a 3-10 season record so far. In 27 starts, he has fanned 146 batters in 137.2 innings with a 5.75 ERA.
