Shaw's Strong Week Earns BSA Trophy Monday, September 18th , 2051 21-year-old Myron Shaw sent shock waves through Baseball Stars Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Baseball Stars Association Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Shaw made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .545 average, 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Phoenix Firebirds left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Shaw certainly made his mark last week. This season Shaw is batting .271 with 44 home runs. He has scored 105 runs and driven in 94. |
