Peña Misses Time with Day-to-Day Injury Tuesday, September 19th , 2051 Machine star starting pitcher Juan Peña might be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Vista Panthers. He sustained a finger blister while throwing a pitch. Peña isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about one week. Up to now Peña has compiled an ERA of 3.47 with a 8-8 mark over 26 starts. He has 189 strikeouts in 155.2 innings and has held opponents to a .250 batting average. |
