Athletics Dietmar Beich Down and Out for Year Saturday, September 19th , 2043 Dietmar Beich will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the San Francisco first baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Beich was injured while running the bases in the Athletics-Aces clash at Play Rocks Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn abdominal muscle and would be out a minimum of 4 months. Beich is hitting .284 for the season with 2 home runs, 68 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has 165 hits in 581 at-bats and played in 143 games. |
