1B Bobby Gore Out Wednesday, August 27th , 2053 Firebirds first baseman Bobby Gore will be spending 5-6 weeks on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Cozumel running the bases and suffered a fractured hand. The Phoenix GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. This year, Gore is hitting .297 with 14 home runs and 34 RBIs in 52 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .388 with 29 walks and 33 runs scored. |
