Green Sox Dávila Fans 16 Seals Saturday, September 30th , 2051 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Júlio Dávila, the Lubbock Green Sox topped the San Francisco Seals today by a score of 4-2 at Greener Pastures. The 31-year-old Dávila brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 3 hits and giving up 3 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Seals manager Kenny Stevens said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." This season Dávila has a 9-9 record with a 4.63 ERA in 28 starts.
