Fort Worth Devastated by Playoff Elimination Monday, October 2nd , 2051 The Fort Worth Cougars clubhouse was dead quiet today with the realization that the club is now officially eliminated from playoff contention. Fort Worth last appeared in the postseason in 2043. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 35 times in their 45-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cougars have only made the playoffs once. Fort Worth last won the World Series in 2008. |
