Yetis Move on to Elite Eight Sunday, October 8th , 2051 The Yonkers Yetis bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a World Series championship. Yonkers downed the Cozumel Reef Divers 7-1 tonight at The Island Ballpark, to take the Wildcard Round 3-1. "It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Iván Guzmán, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the Baseball Stars Association." For the series, Guzmán had 6 hits for .400, with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Yonkers Yetis will play against the St. Louis Browns in the next round. St. Louis had a bye in the Wildcard Round.
