84's Advance to Elite Eight Sunday, October 8th , 2051 By a score of 6-5, the Greenville 84's have sealed a victory in the Wildcard Round over the St. Charles Sheens. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said first baseman Doug Karg of the 84's, who was named the series MVP. "The Sheens knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Greenville will come in the Elite Eight, after winning this series 3-1. The Greenville 84's will play against the Seattle Admirals in the next round.
