What a career and what a ballplayer.
Julián Madrid truly was one of the best to play the game, and today he was enshrined into the Baseball Stars Association Hall of Fame with 0.0% of writer's ballot votes.

"It is an honor to be mentioned with the greatest players of all time. I want to thank my family, friends and teammates for supporting me throughout this long career," the outstanding catcher said at the induction ceremony.

In his career, Madrid played in 2263 games with a .297 lifetime batting average. Among his 2455 hits were 335 doubles, 23 triples and 400 home runs. He also scored 1271 runs and drove in 1353 runs.

Julián Madrid retired from baseball at the age of 38 in 2033.
