Morton Parks 3 for Chicago

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Old Comiskey Park buzzing, Chicago Machine catcher John Morton blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 4-0, over the Orlando Calrissian.
"Everything was clicking," Morton told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Morton shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Machine manager Timothy Widholm said. "John played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
John Morton flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Woodrow Brown in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Woodrow Brown in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off David Escobedo in the 8th.
Morton has a .229 average and a .274 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 102 hits, 17 home runs and driven in 53 runs.
