Wild Card Clinched by Rebels Sunday, September 27th , 2054 The Boston Rebels may not go on to win a World Series, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said second baseman Reid O'Crosan. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 85-76, the Rebels will now look to bring the 3rd World Series championship to Boston. |
