Lord Ups Hit Streak to 30 Consecutive Games Wednesday, September 22nd , 2055 Bob Lord ran his hitting streak to 30 straight games at Gibson Guitar Park, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Nashville G-Strings dropped the game, 20-12, to the Orlando Calrissian. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Lord said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Bob Lord flied out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. To date this season, Lord has registered 30 starts, 16-6 won-lost mark, 3.86 ERA, 203 IP, 233 strikeouts and 43 walks. Opposing teams have hit .211 against him. |
