Admirals, Coalition Close Deal Monday, December 15th , 2042 In a hastily called press conference, Seattle announced today a trade with Columbus that will send 19-year old minor league LF Jeff Shelby, 22-year old minor league RHP Bob Wilhoit, 22-year old minor league RHP Bill Mathis, and 21-year old minor league RHP Luis Sandoval to the Coalition in exchange for 30-year old CF Ken Phillips and 25-year old RHP José MartÃnez. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. In a career spanning 1117 games, Phillips has batted .266 with 1129 hits, 183 home runs, 639 RBIs, and 682 runs scored. |
