Chappell Booms 300th Homer Thursday, September 30th , 2055 It was a historic day in the life of Jonathon Chappell. The 33-year-old Fresno shortstop recorded the 300th homer of his career in the Pharaohs 8-4 triumph over the San Francisco Seals. In the clubhouse after the game, Chappell told BNN, "I was just looking for a ball to drive, and I got one." In his career, Chappell has played in 1195 games with a .262 batting average.
