Green Sox Crowned Kings of the Earth Division Saturday, October 2nd , 2055 The excitement in the room was obvious as the Lubbock Green Sox players and coaches alike celebrated their Earth Division championship. "A lot of our guys have never been in this spot before," said starting pitcher Joba McWattie. "Our team has never won a World Series, but that's something we want to change this year." With a record of 97-63, the club has wrapped up the division for the 2nd time. It will be a "sweet moment for our city and our fans" if the team can bring home a championship, said team owner Billy Simpson. |
