San Jose Trades Sauceda for Yonkers's Abrams Sunday, January 16th, 2039 The San Jose Hawks swapped 24-year-old CF Fernando Sauceda for 22-year-old minor league 1B Travis Abrams, 23-year-old minor league 2B Jamie Burch, 20-year-old minor league RHP Eric Oliver and 28-year-old CF Jorge Carandini of the Yetis after what Yonkers officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations. San Jose will retain a portion of Sauceda's remaining contract. Yonkers will retain a portion of Abrams's remaining contract. Yonkers will retain a portion of Burch's remaining contract. Yonkers will retain a portion of Carandini's remaining contract. Lifetime Sauceda is batting .299 with 551 hits, 46 home runs, 297 runs scored and 242 RBIs. |
