Phoenix's Romero to Miss Season Thursday, June 21st , 2046 The season is ending on a bad note for Iván Romero, third baseman for the Phoenix Firebirds. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Romero was hurt against the St. Louis Browns while running the bases. He suffered a severely strained hip muscle and will be out for at least 4-5 months. For the year Romero is hitting .182 with 1 home run. His stats include 8 runs batted in and 7 runs scored. |
