Prates Hurt, Listed DTD by Yetis Wednesday, June 29th , 2050 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Manny Prates of the Yonkers Yetis, who suffered a mild shoulder strain while colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's contest against Cervezas de Miami. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Yonkers organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 2 weeks the injury is expected to last. So far on the season Prates is hitting .252 with 14 home runs, 41 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 74 hits and played in 76 games. |
