Player of the Week: St. Charles's Harper Monday, May 18th , 2054 23-year-old Steve Harper sent shock waves through Baseball Stars Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Baseball Stars Association Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Harper made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs and 4 runs batted in. Where the St. Charles Sheens third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Harper certainly made his mark last week. For the season, Harper has hit .330 with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 26 games and scored 10 times. |
