1B Miguel Pérez Agrees to Pact with Cleveland Wednesday, March 10th , 2055 Surprising some observers, the Cleveland Fire announced the signing of 38-year-old Miguel Pérez today. The contract runs for 1 year and is valued at $5,300,000. Pérez was described as an "elder statesman" by club officials and former teammates, who apparently expect him to contribute as much in the clubhouse as he does on the field.
