Player of the Week: Waco's Heath Monday, June 10th , 2047 At the age of 28, Jack Heath might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Waco left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .636 batting average. For his efforts Heath collected the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 7 hits in 11 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 3 games. For the season Heath has produced 30 hits in 96 at-bats for a .312 average with 9 home runs and gotten on base at a .365 clip. |
