89ers Calhoun Out Rest Of Season Thursday, May 18th , 2051 A blow for Lawrence Calhoun today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6 months with radial nerve compression. Calhoun suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Oklahoma City 89ers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Calhoun's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Calhoun has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 29 strikeouts and 12 walks in 31 innings while registering a 5.81 ERA and a 2-2 won-lost record. |
