Oklahoma City's Thomas Sidelined for Season Sunday, June 4th , 2051 The Oklahoma City 89ers and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Dwight Thomas would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Thomas was hurt in a recent game against the Mexico City Cerveceros while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. His doctors think that Thomas will miss about 13-14 months.
