Hitting Streak Still Alive for Roenick
Friday, May 14th , 2055
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.

Kevin Roenick did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at The Corral. For the last 20 games in a row, the 23-year-old first baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Olympia Marshalls beat the Louisville Bats, 8-4.

"I'm happy I kept the streak going," Roenick told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Olympia clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day."
Kevin Roenick singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th.

Roenick is currently batting .406 with 15 home runs, 42 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 56 hits in 138 at-bats.
