Vargas Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, June 25th , 2051 Alberto Vargas stole the headlines today, hitting for the cycle in the Chapel Hill Sharks' 8-4 win over the Detroit X-Wings. "Well that was fun, huh?" he said, smiling, after the game. His 4 hits got the Sharks offense going and his 1 RBI and 3 runs scored helped to seal the verdict. Alberto Vargas singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Guonçallo Borja in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
