Dave Arroyo Wins ITL Trophy Monday, July 25th , 2044 At the age of 28, Dave Arroyo might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Chapel Hill third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .600 batting average. For his efforts Arroyo collected the International League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Arroyo has socked 57 hits in 152 at-bats for a .375 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .409 pace and his totals also include 31 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
