Lanchaster Loses Rod Bowen, Will Miss Season Thursday, June 18th , 2054 When Rod Bowen was hurt against the Chapel Hill Sharks, the Lanchaster Farmstormers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 29-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Bowen would miss 13 months of the season. In the current season in 15 starts, Rod Bowen has a record of 4-4 with 76 strikeouts in 89.2 innings and a 4.92 ERA. |
