Season May Be Over for Broncos Jackson Saturday, July 1st , 2051 When Herman Jackson was hurt against the Galveston Tides, the Mile High Broncos were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 28-year-old reliever suffered bone chips in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Jackson would miss 4-5 months of the season. To date this year, he has registered no saves, 5 wins and no losses with a 3.00 ERA. Jackson has made 13 relief appearances, worked a total of 45 innings and surrendered 35 hits. He has fanned 46, issued 14 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .217 batting average. |
