Recovery Slow for Broncos Pedro González Sunday, July 2nd , 2051 The Mile High Broncos plan to take it slow with starting pitcher Pedro González, knowing that his recovery from an elbow strain would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Pedro has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 1-2 weeks before he can be activated." To date this season, González has registered 14 starts, 5-3 won-lost mark, 4.73 ERA, 78 IP, 66 strikeouts and 16 walks. Opposing teams have hit .305 against him. |
