Ames Packs a Wallop -- Hits 3 HR Against Bats Monday, July 24th , 2051 Sunderland Black Cats left fielder Ethan Ames left the Louisville pitching staff in ruins at Louisville Slugger Field today, beating the Bats 11-8 with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Ames told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the Sunderland left fielder had 5 hits in 6 at-bats, drove in 3 and scored 4 runs.
