Santa Monica First Baseman Picked ITL Player of the Week Monday, July 31st , 2051 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Soo-geun Kim, the Santa Monica Bruins 24-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for International League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 12 hits in 26 at-bats, compiling a .462 average with 6 home runs and 13 RBIs. Kim is currently batting .341 with 36 home runs and 86 RBIs. |
