Blue Cats End Lindsay's Streak
Friday, August 12th, 2039
Mexico City left fielder Douglas Lindsay came into today's game against the Waco Blue Cats on a hot streak. He left on a cold one.

The Blue Cats did their jobs well, beating the Mexico City Cerveceros 5-4 and holding Lindsay hitless to snap his 20-game hitting streak. The 26-year-old left fielder had a few words to say after finishing 0-for-4, telling reporters only that he "came up short."

"What Douglas did was exciting and quite an achievement," said Cerveceros manager Reese Carlson. "It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 20 games in a row. I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

So far this year Lindsay is hitting .330 with 11 home runs.
