Star of the Week Honored in ITL Monday, August 7th , 2051 One of the league's most exciting young players, Firuz Djidjishvili of the Louisville Bats earned himself International League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 21-year-old left fielder had a lofty .440 average (11-for-25), collecting 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Djidjishvili has compiled a .343 batting average in 77 games with a .396 on-base percentage, while hitting 40 home runs and driving in 90 runs. |
